Shopshot can email an automated report so the numbers come to you. Configure it under Settings > Email Reports. The report includes Profit & Loss, Marketing Performance, Customer Snapshot, Order Details, and any optional sections you turn on.

Schedule and recipients

Click Edit Schedule & Recipients to choose how often the report goes out and who receives it. Each cadence has its own recipient list:

  • Daily. Covers the previous complete store-local day.

  • Weekly. Covers the previous complete Monday to Sunday week, and sends on Monday.

  • Monthly. Covers the previous complete month.

Add recipients by typing an address and pressing Enter, up to 50 addresses per cadence. A cadence needs at least one recipient to send. Enable only the cadences you want, then Save schedule.

Choosing what appears

Under Email content, toggle whole sections on or off and pick the KPIs inside each. Each section shows how many KPIs are selected (for example "8 / 19 KPIs"). The sections are:

  • Profit & Loss Statement. Total Sales, Gross Sales, Discounts, Returns, COGS, Shipping Costs, Transaction Fees, Order-level Costs, Marketing Costs, Meta and Google Ads Spend, Gross Margin, Contribution Margin, Net Profit, and more.

  • Marketing Performance. Blended CAC, Blended ROAS, New Customer ROAS, MER, Profit on Ad Spend (POAS).

  • Customer Snapshot. New Customers, Returning Customers, New Customer AOV, Profit per New Customer.

  • Order Details. Orders, AOV, Average number of items, Discount Usage Rate, Return Order Rate, Profit per order, Profitable orders.

  • Products. Optional merchandising and return insights.

Locked KPIs

Some KPIs are marked always on and cannot be removed, so every report keeps its essential lines (for example Total Sales, Gross Margin, Contribution Margin, Net Profit, Blended CAC, MER, New and Returning Customers, Orders, AOV, and Return Order Rate). The legend shows three states: always included, selected (will appear), and not selected (won't appear).

Common questions

Can different people get different cadences? Yes. Each cadence keeps its own recipient list, so your daily operator list and your monthly CFO list can differ.

What period does each email cover? The previous complete day, week, or month, so the numbers are final rather than mid-period.

Why can't I remove some KPIs? A core set is locked on so the report stays readable and comparable over time.
